Manila folders are, buff-colored, sturdy paper, or cardstock folders used for organizing, storing, and filing documents, typically in cabinets. Originating in the late 1800s from strong fibers of the Manila hemp plant (abacá) from the Philippines, they now feature tabs for, labeling, commonly in 1/3-cut, letter, or legal sizes.
